Get you Started! Follow the Checklist.

  • Personal Identification:

    • Passport or Birth Certificate

    • Driver’s License (with Marriage Certificate if applicable)

    • Additional: Medicare card, Credit/ATM card, Council Rates Notice, Pensioner Concession card, Health Care card, Tertiary Student ID

  • Income Details:

    • Recent payslips (showing company name, payslip number, year-to-date income)

    • Most recent Group Certificate

    • For Self-Employed: Last 2 years' personal and business tax returns, ATO assessments

    • Additional: Rental income statements, proof of share dividends or interest, Centrelink letters, Private pension statements, proof of other income

  • For Refinancing:

    • Existing loan details (start date, loan period, early exit penalties)

    • Statements for the last 6 months for home and personal loans

    • Most recent Council Rates Notice and building insurance policy

  • ​Credit Cards:

    • Statements for the last 6 months if debt exists

    • Most recent statement if no debts.

  • ​If You Already Own a Home:

    • Statements for the last 6 months for home and personal loans

    • Most recent credit card statement

    • Contract of Sale for new property

    • Savings/investment history (e.g., share certificates, savings account statements)

    • Evidence of additional funds or Statutory Declaration if funds are provided by others

  • For First Home Buyers:

    • First Home Saver Account statement (if applicable)

    • Savings/investment history

    • Evidence of additional funds or Statutory Declaration if funds are provided by others

    • Most recent credit card statement

    • Contract of Sale for new property

  • For Investors:

    • Evidence of rental income, tenancy lease, Council Rates Notice

    • Property manager’s letter on likely rent

    • Savings/investment history

    • Evidence of additional funds or Statutory Declaration if funds are provided by others

    • Most recent credit card statement

    • Contract of Sale for new property

  • For Construction Loans:

    • Builder’s fixed price tender and specifications

    • Council approved plans

    • Savings/investment history

    • Evidence of additional funds or Statutory Declaration if funds are provided by others

    • Most recent credit card statement

    • Contract of Sale for new property

This checklist covers general requirements, but you may not need all of these documents.
